TrainingTraining at PY Media is provided in house using bilingual teaching resources developed by PY Media Station Coordinator Tom Holder. This unaccredited training provides new employees with an introduction to PY Media and radio. The focus of training at PY Media is to build skills based competence in our new employees pertaining to our day-to-day operational requirements.

All materials are available in multimedia formats and are designed to be flexible to accommodate the diverse learning needs of our participants. Most assessments are by way of practical demonstrations not traditional written forms of assessment.

New staff members that complete a three month probation period are offered pathways into formal media training at Bachelor Institute of Indigenous Tertiary Education (BIITE). Training sessions are held at PY Media every month and are open to all Anangu interested in a career in media.
